Our oven broke the day before Thanksgiving! We didn't bother trying to get a hold of someone to fix it until the day after. Ed was able to come the next day after I called and was able to get our oven working again. He was polite and kind. I recently had a problem with my washing machine, and I was really impressed with the service I received from Mt Prospect Appliance Repair. The technician arrived on time and was very professional. Ed quickly diagnosed the problem and had it fixed in no time. The price was also very reasonable. Had an issue with LG refrigerator not cooling and called them on Saturday morning.  Gentlemen arrived within the hour to diagnose.  He was very polite and reset the fridge.  Indicated that the fridge should be good as the compressor was working but that if I had any issues to call him right away and he would come back since he lived locally.  Charged $99 diagnostic fee.  About 30 minutes after he left the fridge stopped cooling and a clicking noise was back.  I called and sent a text, never received a response.

I called another local company and they came out in the afternoon.  They diagnosed a faulty compressor and it needed to be replaced.

Ed was able to accurately diagnose a faulty gas valve in my dryer that came with the house. Was onsite on time and able to accurately diagnose the problem! A day later he was onsite to replace the faulty part that basically required a complete disassembly of this dryer. Within 90 minutes of arrival he had everything reassembled and working properly. Ed assessed the issue with my dishwasher and repaired it in about 30 minutes. He kept within his appointment window, called before arriving and provided some insight on another appliance in my home.
